Hike up Snow King or Josie’s Ridge
Both Snow King and Josie’s Ridge are around 3 miles round trip and located right in town. They both have incredible views of town and the Tetons! Don’t be fooled by the words “in town” though - these two short hikes have quick elevation gain and will kick your butt!

ACTIVITIES
Hike around Jenny Lake
Head out to Grand Teton National Park to checkout the mountains! Jenny Lake is a beautiful lake in the park with parking right next to it. You can walk the full 7 mile loop or you can take a boat across (and back) and hike up to Inspiration Point (2 miles roundtrip). Grab a sandwich at Creekside before you go out and explore!
Difficulty: Easy- Moderate
Hike to Surprise Lake
Another great hike in the park- but this one is no joke! A 10 mile roundtrip hike with significant elevation gain, there are great views of Taggart Lake and two beautiful glacier lakes at the top. Don’t stop at Surprise Lake , just around the corner about .5 miles longer is Amphitheater Lake.
Difficulty: Hard
Bike from Dornan’s to Jenny Lake
Drive out to Dornan’s in the park and rent bikes! Take the bike path 7 miles through the national park to Jenny Lake. Order sandwiches at Dornan’s marketplace if you want to have a picnic at Jenny Lake, or grab a beer and some pizza on the deck at Dornan’s once you get back from your ride.
Bike from Town to Basecamp and Rations
Head over to Hoback Sports and rent bikes for the day. Take the bike path out towards Teton Pass and stop at Rations. It’s the best gas station food you’ll ever have! Don’t forget to get a sloshie while you’re there.
